The Governmentʼs Green Deal initiative may be putting the focus on payback – whether or not the costs of an initiative are recouped through reductions in energy consumption within the lifetime of the product or installation. However, to businesses, improving energy efficiency is as important to brand building as it is to the bottom line, according to a new Deloitte report. More than three-quarters of the organisations surveyed say they are actively promoting their energy efficiency efforts to their customers.
